Once a deal gets above the £100M mark there are some additional parameters that come into the equation. Could be something like this not fitting in to the standard insurance we have in place for our players as his value is so high.

I can see the announcement being tomorrow now, possibly going down the rabbit hole of over thinking here, but I can’t see it being Sunday or Monday as the media will be preoccupied with England.
