Maybe that's the kind of thing AI could do in the future instead. A person has to view all those images and videos etc and there is no way it wont have an impact on their mental health.

The legal assessment and approval process for adopting a child in the UK is exactly the same for gay men/couples as it is for anyone else and that should not be the case.

Men are more likely to have sexual perversions than women. Men are typically more sexually aggressive than women. The majority of pedofiles are men. Gay men are more likely to have suffered sexual abuse as minors. The majority of sex offenders who abuse children were themselves the victims of sexual abuse as a child.

All these things combined should mean gay men are under a stricter assessment to adopt a child. That’s before any of the biological factors that typically mean womens ability to care for and raise a child being better than mens even come into consideration.

To be clear. That does not mean no gay men or couples should be able to adopt.

Interesting, but there are many conflicting reports about this.

The JWRC are always putting out myth busters about gay men being more likely to abuse children

That would then have to mean the following is not accurate.

Most men who molest little boys are not gay. Only 21 percent of the child molesters we studied who assault little boys were exclusively homosexual. Nearly 80 percent of the men who molested little boys were heterosexual or bisexual and most of these men were married and had children of their own.

1. Far less than 21% of men are exclusively homoseuxal
2. They have included bisexual and homosexual together.

This only proves my point to be honest. Even when they don’t include bisexuals, gay men massively over index.

There is alot more to the article which quotes alot of people who have spent far longer than you and I studying the subject.
 
Medical data backs up this psychological observation. In a 1994 study, researchers reviewed 352 medical charts, representing all of the children seen in the emergency room or child abuse clinic of a Denver children’s hospital as a result of being sexually abused. In looking at charts for a one year period (from July 1, 1991 to June 30, 1992), the researchers found that the molester was a gay or lesbian adult in fewer than 1 percent of cases (2 of 269) in which the adult molester could be identified. (Jenny, Roesler, and Poyer, 1994).

I think this is a key comment

Its the way focus should be on all number of things, where as some are always looking for reason to blame wider communities through some association of "you are more likely to if..................."
