Lucas Bergvall

He's certainly got to improve a lot in order to have a chance. Let's be honest, were he at Rangers with no ties to Spurs no one would be looking at him wanting us to sign him.

It's purely because he's a young guy who has come through the ranks at Spurs that he gets hyped. Would be silly to completely write him off when he's 18, but if you held a gun to my head I don't see him making it here....
In fairness we also have the privilege of knowing he came through with an exceptional youth level.

I just cant see how in his current form he steps up, I really would love to be wrong there 100%

You would have thought people would have learnt from these wild takes after Kane.

You would also think that people would also realise that no two players have the same journey, let alone circumstances in common. And just saying something like "look at Kane" is just fairly lazy and doesn't even really make much logical sense when you really think about it.

Writing a player off based on a relatively successful loan doesn’t make sense either.

Good to see we have so many experts on young players around the age of 18/19 on the forum and if they are going to make it at the top . Let's look at Semenyo, at 18 years old he was playing for Bath City in some league or other, did he look like a future City player at the time for £60 million or so.

The game is constantly evolving as well. A player like Oliver Skipp as an example. Plenty had him down as a future Spurs captain and England international. But the type of midfielder he is has completely gone out of fashion.

Europa League last season is the only trophy the club has ever won without a youth team player in the starting XI. We should be giving these players more of a chance than anyone else.

It's just an opinion that has been expressed and from the games I've seen it's far from an outrageous one. You can literally find an example of anything if you want to, for every Semenyo there is 1000s of 18 year olds at that level who haven't gone on to be PL level.

All your example does is show that anything can happen which we all know is true, but that doesn't mean the odds aren't against Moore being good enough and @MartyFunkhouser opinion that he won't make it here is more likely to be right than wrong from what I've seen - if that doesn't end up being the case then great, we will all be happy....

No one is proclaiming to be an expert, its opinion, its a football forum designed for that.
