Champions League 25/26

Well, they’ve been getting those decisions all season, so must be a shock when a game is actually refereed properly.
Thought in general the ref was very good, didn’t stand for any of the usual Goons nonsense they get away with week in and week out in the Prem.

Though I have to say the Havertz goal shouldn’t have stood for handball. Saka should have given away a pen for 2 handballs and Mosquera should have been off for 2nd yelllow. So the goons still got loads in their favour as per..

exactly that

would have been dumb to play any other way

that's why you have to credit Arteta, he did the right thing

So after spending best part of a billion pounds and having HG players like Saka and Martinelli, the best he could come up with was that?

I hear people say if Arsenal tried to play they would've got destroyed. Why would that be? Because PSG are a better coached team than Arsenal. Ill give Arteta no credit for serving up that brick

Wish I could double like that post mate.

It's not even got anything to do with playing PSG as to why they played like that - they've been playing that rubbish all year....

There is more of a balance to be had though, dreadful final

1bn quid to play like Stoke with abit more consistency. Utter trash

I just don’t see that they have it in them to play an open game against PSG and have the win probability in their favour, they played to their strengths instead.

People moan about our forwards, they have Havertz and Madueke, absolute muck.

Of course but with 1bn spent there should be more to them, to make a CL takes something, 22% possession in a final is criminal

Had a gig last night and we setup up during the extra time and penalties. A club full of Arsenal fans.

Anyway the inevitable happened and they lost. So the TVs are turned to silent and one of the Arsenal fans goes to the jukebox and puts The Angel (North London Forever) on and the entire place is singing it. Then it came on a second time. I bet it was loaded on 5 times.

I just casually went to the bar and asked them to mute their music so my band could do our sound check. That got the obvious reaction from the club. Told the sound engineer to put our PA on and straight into Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur on my own. The chairman of the club (mate of mine, Spurs fan) was killing himself.

You can't miss these opportunities in life right?

They had an easy run to the final and were maybe the fifth best team in the competition (whilst they play anti football, they are good at it). But as others have said, this is not a great achievement for the money spent.

They even played like this against Wolves, so saying they had to against PSG is just bs. I guess nobody can admit that’s all they’ve got.

Absolutely over the moon they lost, that Eze penalty is a work of art. COYS!! Good motivation for us to get back up the table next season.

That was too close for comfort, thought they were going to anti-football their way to the trophy. Haven't celebrated a miss/loss like that for a long time, if at all. Basking in all their bitterness and sore loser videos, the world feels that bit better today!
Yeah way to close… but now they’ve lost the fact is they stink out a final, had 22% possession and lost. Beautiful.
