The 'will be fresher' argument has not come to fruition so many times. As for the performance against Villa it does a lot of heavy lifting, when it was full of players who haven't played together all season. A closer barometer would be the match against a fully cohesive yet unspectacular Leeds side, and we was far from impressive.
