Considering how Tel has consistently watched our experienced 'defenders' doing these brain dead sort of things I can't and won't blame him. Would rather look at Richys 'finishing' as to why we didn't win tbh.

Kind of weird to try and make him the spacegoat when he's one of the only ones trying to make things happen but why am I not surprised....

Did Richy have many chances? Palinha smashed the ball over from a better chance.

I would rather not blame anyone. We saw the best and worst of Tel. The best we will see more of, and the worst we won't.

But we didn't create many clear cut chances.

brick happens, I thought he was our most influential player going forward yesterday. No need to judge him too harshly for his stupid decision with the overhead kick, imo, even though it may come to cost us dearly.

I felt he made a lot of mistakes yesterday but weighed against a brilliant goal and some good crosses too. He is young and inconsistent. I think his decision making needs working on too. But he has a top coach to do that with him
. In an ideal world he would be a sub ATM. But we are not in a position to do that.

Yeah, I think this experience he is getting playing under this sort of pressure is going to be beneficial for him long term - just a shame he has to be exposed to it right now as like you say ideally we need a more established player. But long term I think he's going to be a star - he has a good shot and cross on him, fantastic mentality and will continue to develop...

The kid has talent for sure and for 21 years of age he really looks like he has a BIG future infront of him. He will learn from the overhead attempt i am sure of it. Sad that there those on teletext and the like who are giving him stick over it. Thankfully he will ignore all the idiots on socail media and put it down as a lesson learnt.
