Vote Reform..........or else
what an absolutely sickening message
reform are scum, subhuman racist scum
A million quid in your pension pot would make you a millionaire without being anywhere near rich. A million pound business would probably be a good earner without making you rich. In the South East, you could get most of the way to a million with a detached house and a car or two without being anywhere near rich.A million quid is a lot - most people are not savers they spend every penny every month.
For a typical white collar worker like myself targeting a million quid in my pension pot with about a decade to go that still needs me putting in 40% of my earnings and hoping for double digit annual investment returns and i have already made a lot of sacrifices (no holidays/new cars) over a long period.
Where a million quid is less valuable is in the standard of living this supports = only a functional retirement. The rule of thumb being long term withdrawals accounting for sequence risk run at 4-4.5% of the capital per annum.
It won't backfire because it's the Greens they've chosen. Neither party are palatable to civilised human beings, so they're aiming at those places where it's a close vote between the two.It won't backfire. There is a large amount of people who will be cheering this. The local elections will tell us what percentage of this country thinks the above is no big deal.

People who wouldn't usually vote for either would surely choose Reform as the lesser of two evils in this case.
That “everyone on benefits were taking advantage of the system” or that some people were?Yep....loads of it on here over the last 20 years.....
Even recently ive seen "why should I work so hard"....
Its an easy search, I am not making thay up.....I was likely guilty of the same sh1t 15 years ago....but I will own it
That “everyone on benefits were taking advantage of the system” or that some people were?
So probably not actually that everyone on benefits was taking advantage of the system then? There were bold and wide statements that covered alot of people generally, plenty of hateful terms like scrounger used. Without specifics it 100% becomes a generalisation on the poorer classes
So probably not actually that everyone on benefits was taking advantage of the system then?
Or don’t invent something that didn’t happen to try to add weight to an argument? Then be specific, don't be hateful towards so called lower classes, its not hard. If people are not then its rightfully called out, I don't think thats outrageous
Not least because there are likely people on here who do or have used the benefits system
Or don’t invent something that didn’t happen to try to add weight to an argument?
Absolutely.A million quid in your pension pot would make you a millionaire without being anywhere near rich. A million pound business would probably be a good earner without making you rich. In the South East, you could get most of the way to a million with a detached house and a car or two without being anywhere near rich.
To my mind, both are huge issues. I would not trivialise one over the other. In fairness, I'm not sure many of us would ascribe the concept of 'fairness' to China? Is China not the fairest model ? They dealt with that ali express bloke in their own uncompromising way and also are actively depopulating.
To my mind a few people with a billion quid is a nothing problem compared to a billion or two new souls with zero quid- and that is what is projected to happen.
It is hard to disagree. Tragically. It won't backfire. There is a large amount of people who will be cheering this. The local elections will tell us what percentage of this country thinks the above is no big deal.
