I'd rather get rid of the players that aren't good enough and have a crap attitude and give Kulu the chance to prove his fitness.

i'd try to do both at the same time, not mutually exclusive problems
Kulu is one of our best players with a great attitude. Unless you're on his medical team and have insight into the long term impact of his injury then you've no idea if he will have more problems. I'd rather keep our good players and get rid of the crap.

i did a knee surgery and was off my foot for 2 months and light walking for another 2 and felt i lost a lot of muscle memory
not saying kulu can't make it - the question is how much risk are you willing to accomodate to get to top 4.
We're not getting top 4 for at least 2-3 years unless there is serious investment, which I can't see happening.
Kulu has posted plenty of videos of him in the gym using his legs. Even if he was off his feet for 2 months he'd still have most of a year under his belt. A patella injury is totally different to the usual knee injury that involves ligaments. Plus the rehab that he's going to be going through is a lot different to anything you would've done.

I don't think a patella injury is simple. Lots of advancements on ligament treatments, but haven't seen much innovation in treatmentw on the surface of bone joints.
Imo Top 4 is possible in 2-3 years and I'm guessing de zerbi wants to win something in years 4/5.

I've been away for a couple of months and can't quite grasp that we've had a manager come and go and I've not seen a sing;le game that he managed!
