The Cricket Thread

Do we only bump this thread when we are doing rubbish? We have been gradually getting better and beat a very good New Zealand side.

Whatever happens, we've had a decent tournament, there are a lot of good teams and this short format can be a lottery so reaching the semis is a success regardless of what happens from here...

We've done well with players like Buttler, Salt and Rashid being on the whole awful, especially Buttler
Fingers crossed they really come to the part in the SF and hopefully Final

Jacks has been a revelation for me, Ahmed should be playing, I would have him as a wild card opener
Brook has come into the tournament at a pace

Saffies do look head and shoulders above anybody else though

Here's hoping the Windies can beat India today

I was just thinking that it's a good idea having Ahmed in there as an insurance policy with our openers doing so poorly. The thing probably keeping Buttler in now is his wicket keeping, I think he's done well in this tournament from that side of things but can't argue if he's dropped - Duckett would probably be better.

Agree that South Africa are the standout team and should win.....
