Not getting extra heads in Jan was bemusing, it's going to see us relegated.

The squad is easily good enough to finish in the top half. Tonight's team was easily good enough to beat a fairly gash Saudi Sportswashing Machine.
The (lack of) tactics are a far bigger problem.

Says it all that yesterday we lost again and are now five points outside the drop zone, only thanks to United getting a 96th minute equaliser.
Yet it seems the clubs priority yesterday was launching the new pre match wear.
I know these things happen, but it really is stupid optics and tone deaf the way this club puts itself into such a pit out on the pitch and yet constantly has the “wanna buy this?” mentality.
Improve the side which relates to the actual reason we exist.

Is there anyone left who still think they should be in charge of our club? They are happy with finishing in the top 4, didn’t understand that to bridge the gap between 4th and being perennial title contenders you need to bring in quality players and not backups and didn’t feel we needed to spend in the last window despite circling above the relegation zone. They don’t get it in any aspect.

This has been a constant with the club for about three decades - since before ENIC, with Scholar and Sugar, but ENIC certainly carried on with it.
There's a terminal lack of emotional intelligence at the club, and a preference for the sort of lifeless corporate-speak that inspires no one and leaves you feeling like you're talked at, not to. This permeates the club, from the boardroom to the stands - and sometimes leaves it looking like it would much rather be a 'regular' business on the stock market than, y'know, a football club with a 144-year history.
And the result is the sort of PR nightmares we regularly generate, that few others seem to. Like launching the new pre-match wear with 'we thrive in darkness' or some such nonsense while the club is battling relegation. Or cheerfully plastering 'Classic Tottenham' all over the screens as we're being walloped by any and all opponents that arrive. Or reacting to widespread discontent by making it harder to give up your seat without penalties.
It's lifeless decisions made by suits that barely understand football, or people.

True or not, who knows, but I have always had the sense that too many overlooked the legal reason Joe left rather than anything else and its always felt that he was still the "Don" at the top of the Spurs Cosa Nostra
