Wilson Odobert

He's still young enough that we imo shouldn't put too much pressure on him to perform short term. But some of his recent performances have been showing what he can do and I'm excited to see if he can do more of the same in tougher games. We sure could do with him keeping this up.
good enough to come off the bench imo, but not good enough to start

Unfortunately he seems to have secured the mantle of nearly man. He nearly makes the pass, nearly makes the dribble, nearly scores the goal.
This season, 1542 minutes played, 2 goals, 5 assists, 220min/GC. Only just started to find his pre-injury form in the last few matches though.
In modern top-tier football (e.g., Premier League, La Liga), a "good" goal contribution (Goals + Assists) for a winger generally ranges from 15 to 25+ combined across a 38-game league season. Elite, world-class wingers often aim for, or exceed, a 30+ goal contribution total (including cup competitions).

Not really. In pro football there is no time. You have to deliver and right now he does some things that look okay, but he is not affecting games by scoring or making assists.
Two assists against Dortmund, one against Burnley, scored against Villa. That's 4 goal involvements in his last 6 games including the sub appearance against City where he also came close. 4 goal involvements in his last 5 starts.
