*** Tottenham Hotspur Vs Forest *** OMT

Why should we? I've been saying for years now that this team is pish. So for me I expect results like this. An average squad of players will have good days and they will have brick days. I dunno I don't look at our squad of players and actually expect better. Maybe i'm crazy but as i've said before its funny how the results match up to my views so often.
Was it the players faults last season?

And to be clear I don't think they are all brick. we have one or two who frankly awful. I've spoken about them so often I won't repeat. As a squad its broadly average but its also lacking in balance which brings that average potential down. If we want to play progressive passing football where is the passing 8? We don't have a single one of quality in the squad. No one who has passing quality, passing vision and passing execution as their speciality. Not ONE. How is this team supposed to control a game and pass through the zones?

Where is the left side attacker? Today we played Muani there, and he had a decent game but c'mon anyone with eyes can see playing out on the left doesn't suit him at all and is just a waste of the player. Tel, Odobert, Johnson, Richy all of the other options for the left are meh, on their day we migth get something but typically we get fudge all. These are not players that if we saw playing at another club we would be interested in. So why are lying to ourselves now? Because they play for Spurs already? I get the idea of supporting your players but lets not lie to ourselves.

So yes I think this squad is meh, its a top 10 squad for me which if we had a Messiah manager in the Poch mode might get a top 6 finish but for me to expect that or better i'd consider myself deluded. This squad and starting 11 especially considering we don't actually have a complete 11 is just average at best.

We have several discernible holes in the squad. We've all said that.
You keep banging on about a 'passing 8'. What evidence do you see that this manager would want one? Today we once again saw a lack of simple structures all over the pitch. There appears to be little structural pattern work on how to attack. I love using the middle of the pitch more, but that requires triggers and progressions, players moving into certain areas and the like. None of it. The first mistake comes because a 19 year old comes 30 yards to try and take responsibility when no-one else is; our experienced keeper just hands it off even though he sees everything. We have coaching and managerial issues, and lets see what happens once Wells leaves...

Wells leaving scares me more now
He is one who has gone through his career with managers who wanted to play creative football
The rest of the coaches from what I can tell have mainly developed with Frank at various points

Well he saw I had a spurs shirt on
But I do also talk to fans of other teams
Also spoke a West Ham fan who said they should have beaten villa
No idea if that’s true either
Maybe I shouldn’t post anything to a avoid having different views

Exactly.
Conform and remember, this is all Ange's fault!
😂😂😂

Honestly, don’t be scared by a cosch leaving. I think we’ll all be okay in the end. 😃

I thought he'd spent most of his career working under Parker? And then Ange, who wasnt creative (he threw numbers forward, but had no idea about things like synchronised movement)

Why do you bring on Davies and Palhinha on when you are chasing the game?

How will those two substitutes bring us back into the game, and what do players like Johnson, Odobert or Tel think to that little Frank masterpiece move?

I think he's lost, and I think the Directors must see this.

Create more turnovers and more opportunities to build.
