What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Cheeky bid for Modric?!

He wouldn’t have the legs to play 90 minutes of PL football on a regular basis but what a mentality monster and master technician for the youngsters to learn from at the training ground.

Would be amazing to have around for our youngsters. Would definitely do a job for us in midfield as well. Let's do it, I say.

Why are city willing to sell and why are the fans turning on him then?
Who says they are? Probably just gossip again. City have lots of options, not like us who have a squad that has 2 maybe 3 players that are obvious starters every game, the rest are all average.
Before you ask, id say VDV, Kudus and Bergvall of the current availalable players should start every game. Romero slows us down terribly, and had too many errirs in him so i wouldnt say hes untouchable.

That was to cover the loans that paid for the summer's spending
The loans they took out are covered by the future TV revenues. That’s what they are secured on
If you’re intimating that there won’t be any owner money, I agree. I don’t thin. They will put anything in of note but they gone to great pains to highlight the £100m recently

Which is where our attention should be, if not him then still not Savvy
The problem is players like Semenyo and Anderson will have better options - from an unbiased view we aren't that attractive, we certainly won't be in Champions League next season and doubtful will have any European football at all. And top attacking players are hardly going to be looking at how we play football and think 'Yeah, I want in on that'.

We have to get these players before they become the level Semenyo is at now when almost any PL team would take him now. Hence why we recruit the way we do with potential, but our buys still seem some way off getting to that level (but I believe some of them still can get there)....

Semenyo is 25, who knows how good, or bad, Odobert, tel, gray, Bergvall etc will be by then, he's at least three years ahead of them in development.
I love us buying these youngsters, but we should be supplementing them with others further along the line, like kulu was, and some ready made.

For sure, I don't doubt they will, but that the standard not so much the individuals we should be looking at

I can't stomach seeing us sign another run of mill LW when we have signed Odobert, Tel...................for example
