Worst pundit or commentator

just because he sounds like scratching fingernails over a blackboard and talks utter crap into the bargain, I nominate the one and only Mr Jamie Carragher

Yeah I understand, I watch games on mute and turn off when they end. I trust my own eyes to inform me what I've just watched and don't feel the need to be told what some bais windbag who can't get a job in the game tell what they think happened. I might watch a panel including Graham Norton, Jo Brand and Paul Merton though.
 
You can close this thread, because I know the worst one; Norwegian former national team coach, Nils Johan Semb. This guy has been stealing a living for at least 25 years. He’s so utterly terrible it begs belief. He’s captain obvious personified, only says exactly what he (and everyone else) sees - and whatever is in favour of Man Utd.

No English comms comes even close to this guy. I’d rather have Jamie Redknapp on 11 than 5 minutes of this guy. Wish you could hear him for yourself, you would instantly agree. I’m sure the Norwegians on here agrees.

I can't stand any female pundit or commentator in the men's game
 
Special mention for the female commentator (I think she's a goon) in FC24, can't remember her name. That accent is fudging abhorrent. I'd rather stab myself in the urethra with a broken wine glass than turn that commentary back on.

I don’t mean to be all politically correct but why?

And I’m not having a pop but I hear this a lot with very little about what they actually say being used as the reason they shouldn’t be commenting on the men’s game.

I honestly find the female pundits no worse than the men. I know Eni Aluko gets an awful lot of stick and she’s had a few brainfarts (like Kevin Keegan and Bobby Robson before her to name but two) but I have found her quite insightful at times.

And Emma Hayes has probably been the most insightful pundit of all in recent decades. Her understanding of and ability to communicate the game is leagues ahead of anyone else on UK tv
