Yeah I hear that, that's why I think height is less important than the actual leap and aggression like you point out. Also reading of the flight of ball is just as key.

He's got 81 appearances for club and 4 for country before joining us (a lot of appearances for a 20 year old CB), I suspect he's closer to Bergvall/Gray than Veliz/Yang

I think we can now ask that same question of Phillips, Vuskovic and Takai but probably less so Dorrington.
I'm just not sure how you keep the first 3 happy in the same squad with 4 or 5 other senior centre halves in play.
It's definitely gonna be interesting sitting back and watching what evolves though. Nice problem to have right?

They won't all be here by the start of the season. Will be a couple out on loan. Would be a big step up from a few games at Aberdeen for Dorrington.

The Japanese international joined the club this summer but is yet to make a competitive appearance because of a foot issue he picked up just weeks after joining.
Frank said: “So he’s still not training on the pitch, hopefully soon. I don’t know when he will be back, he’s not training. I’ll come back to that on Friday so I’m sure I’m saying the right thing.”
Takai joined Spurs from Kawasaki Frontale and Frank has been impressed by what he has seen from him when he has trained so far.
“Everyone in the squad is competing for minutes,” he said. “I like what I saw in the first few weeks he had at the club.
“Of course, he just came straight from Japan and competed, so I like what I saw, everyone is competing.”

I think they need to build a full on hospital with multiple wings based on the last few years.
