No smart arse comments about stadium name in the title thread. I have got this one right. We NEED to rebuild the fortress and we NEED to remember when we thumped every bastard who dared step onto our N17 pitch that final season, including these small club in Fulham West London scumbags. The very CONCRETE which was in those glorious old stand is infused in our brilliant new citadel, and we remain firmly in the very area where we've always been.

My side would be (injuries not withstanding, I believe Romero might be available?) -

Vic

Porro
Romero
VdV
Spence

Sarr
Pahlinha
Bergvall

Kudus
Muani
Richy

subs: Kinky, Bentancur, Xavi, Tel, Johnson, Odobert, Scarlett, Danso, Rosewell

Smash the bastards.

We'll win.

i think our best chance is to defend well and counter attack.
i would prefer bentancur to start and sarr to replace him at the 60 min mark
what does rosewell do? if dragusin is ready i would have him in as vdv and romero tend to lose their heads against chelsea.

Bentancur has been really good recently and I think we need him to start.

Some interesting choices for Frank, up front and in the three positions behind the striker.

Would be great if Romero is back and fit. Danso has been very good, but Romero is different class.

No chance it’s not Bentancur and Palhinha in the middle again. If we can get a win it sets us up very well for a difficult run ahead, but I’m not getting my hopes up. 2-2

Vicario
Porro Danso VDV Spence
Bentancur Palhina
Kudus Sarr Xavi
Muani

You are probably right about Bentancur. From what I've seen of Xavi's progress so far, I wouldn't be starting him I this.

I think we could do with Bentancur off the bench TBH.
I don't think Frank will field the team (or midfield 3/front 3) I've suggested TBH...

Rosewell is a tall defender (usually FB) can play in centre, very young. He looks a good prospect but I did read someone on here thought he was not very good in a game we lost, we lead the world in writing off players based on one game.

Thomas Frank has confirmed that Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie and Wilson Odobert are fit and available for selection for Tottenham's Premier League clash with Chelsea on Saturday.

Hopefully left out of the squad against Saudi Sportswashing Machine as a precaution and further along than not even being on the bench for that one would typically indicate.

If they're just back to "ready for selection" it's a fairly big ask to be starting them. Either way good to have them back in contention.

Hmmm, hopefully Romero will be fit enough to play at least an hour without aggravating his injury then…

Asked later about Cuti's fitness levels - and if it was a 'rushed decision' for a big game - Thomas added: "I’m very aware of trying to be able to take the best possible decisions. Of course, in the end, I'll get a lot of information from medical staff, performance staff but in the end, it's always on me. If a player breaks down, it's on me. It's not on the medical staff, it's always on me. I take decisions, I get all the information and then I need to take a difficult choice or a brave choice or an easy choice or decision. So, that's it. If he was fit enough, he would have been involved Wednesday. So, he's ready to be involved tomorrow and let's see how much.”
