Mikey Moore

By the way Mikey started their Europa League game.
Some Rangers twot got sent off in the first half, so Mikey was sacrificed at half time, and they lost 0-1.

Wonder who they will go for?

Return of slippy G?

Would be nice to see Jermain Defoe coaching Moore

2 of Mikey's goals have surfaced. Right foot, left foot. Neat

The kid saw too big too soon. Seems to have believed his own hype from his comments on signing on. Should have gone to the likes of West Brom
.

Don't agree.
Rangers have been shocking this season, and noone is playing well.

He has been played at LW,RW and LB... There is no consistency for him to settle into.

Last 3 games (England u19 and rangers)
Mins: 97
Goals: 4
Assists: 1

Hopefully rangers can get someone half competent and Moore can get get more game time, even from the bench.

I think that's unfair, met him last year and he seemed a level headed young man who knew there's a lot of work to do before he can get established in first team.
I mentioned ages ago that a West Ham fan at my work has a son who played with Moore and he got to know the family and says they are great and have worked hard at keeping his feet on the ground over the past couple of years and made sure he doesn't fall into that trap of believing the hype.

The mess at Rangers will be great experience for him, he's done ok the bits I've seen of him. I do think some were way over estimating where he is at questioning why he wasn't getting more game time for us. He is nowhere near PL ready, and that's fine. I reckon the natural progression would be a Championship loan next year, and then let's see where we go from there.....

Mikey was mentioned on the fan forum by Lange on how the desicion to loan him out was taken very carefully in consultation with his family and how it was felt that going to a club involved in Euro competition would benefit his development so that cut out going to any English club unfortunately Rangers are going through a rough period but nobody could have anticipated that.

Yeah, impossible to actually know how a club will do and how they will use a loan player.

But even more than that it's been only a couple of months, and these loans imo are a about a lot of things beside just starting games regularly. I think this is the kind of adversity that could be good for a young player to learn from.

I agree in principle but Glasgow is a tough city particularly for an Englishman, half the football side hate you and if your not doing well the home fans are very demanding. It's a test of fire and he could come out of it toughened like steel.
