Anything that slightly disrupts it is a bonus. We warm up in the half we usual defend in the first half as well so that's 30 plus minutes before the game at that side of the pitch.
A psychologist would probably recommend varying the end we warm up in to adjust.

Did we win both gamesDyche had Everton do it whenever they could. We beat them both times they came to visit under him. I remember they did it for one of those games, not sure about the other.
I'm assuming continued work on the transfer front is part of the strategy.I agree we have added in the attacking area and of course we can't expect too much too soon. But whatever way you look at it our attack to date has been predictable, and Kudus has been the shining light but 'great' is a bit of a stretch - 3 assists at least one of which was from a corner and 0 goals says it all.
Improving attackers at a club like Brentford is a different matter where a lot more games the opposition will come at you and a lot more space on the counter as a reault. At Spurs you don't have that luxury for the majority of the time which means the players really do have to be a level above technically. And this isn't a criticism of Frank, this is me saying he needs to be given the best possible tools. Simons and Muani might be a good starting point, but we need a quality LW and and striker regardless if we want to become serious contenders for top 4....
My worry is … if we’re looking at more transfers it means more selling to make roomI'm assuming continued work on the transfer front is part of the strategy.
I also think for at least some of the players here he has players at a significantly higher starting point than at Brentford. Though I get your point that to be serious top 4 contenders over time we probably need more and somewhat different skills to what he had at Brentford.
I'm looking forward to see what he can do with the players he already has and then for further transfers activity to happen as the answers to what he can do with these players becomes a bit clearer.
I agree on positions that are likely to need improvements.
We're 4th.
Just sayin.
...having a fit Deki, Solanke, Maddison or Muani to choose from would help in that regard...
I don't know what he is learning although to be fair you prioritise solidity and build from that. It is the only way to do it. In terms of the players i am sure that any other club would not be as fluid and look slightly blunt if they lost their first choice striker and their firat and second choice creative midfielders. When you say Frank is learning, and mention these players, do you think it will be meaningfully different in terms of style when they return?
Reading The Athletic today, I think they have a fair read of it. The football is go full back to winger, get a cross in, hope to profit from it. And also be willing to go direct when the opportunities arise.
When Wolves went three at the back they controlled the game. I appreciate Frank’s attempts to adjust our shape to combat it, but clearly nothing worked.
My concern is that if we don’t get the right bounce of the ball from a cross or direct pass, it doesn’t look like we have lots of other ideas. So when we say Frank is learning, what is he trying to understand? I’m just sure it’s something to learn as much as he is prioritising solidity, which is a strategic choice. To be sure we are solid, but we aren’t lighting it up consistently on offence.

We’re horrendous at that
Great question.
Personally, no.
I think he is learning which combinations can get him what he wants primarily (FB-winger-cross - it is why I think we'll go big for Semenyo) and he is interested in seeing what combos can best help him achieve that. I think, for example, he'd have been encouraged by the Bergvall/Kudus relationship building. I think he wants Kudus to arrive in the boxc similarly to Brennan when the likes of Destiny are on the ball. FWIW these are all reasons he had to be talked around to the Eze we didn't end up getting (and why he wanted Savinho so much).
I do think he is a man of options, so when those players are fit again they will provide him with options should he wish to switch styles/approaches, but I think his primary goal is to do what he likes best better.
I was disappointed in Frank's efforts to combat the switch TBH.
I think your concerns are valid. My golden hope is he learns two different ways for us to play in the same game using his bench.
