No sign of Rory, as they’ve said. Hope he’s okay. Faldo not letting the Yanks’ behaviour lie - outstanding from him.
Listened to the last 15 mins driving home from Wembley, was weird listening to it on the radio
Rory did a brilliant interview, he sounded totally and utterly shattered

I hope Donald stays on he is one of the best captains ever, one thing is no player can play 5 games going forward, Rory/Rahm/Fleetwood all fudged today

If Biden or Obama was president the same brick would have happened over the last 3 days
It's departed Yank fans
It's like the war on shore and brookline never happened.
The uspga choose NY and Bethpage with this in mind, they knew this was the behaviour pattern and hoped it would push the USA over the line.
It's worrying for American golf that they feel the need to do that tbh.

Banning alcohol would be a start
Never going to happen, and I don't think it would work. Alcohol may fuel, but the entitlement is already there.
What really needs to happen is some of the American players to call it out and act on it.
A couple of concessions, take the stance of "I'm going to win by my efforts or not at all. My victory is not going to be tainted by unsportsman behaviour."
Won't happen either.
Nicklaus, trevino, Palmer and their generations would not have stood for this.
It's not golf.

As I pointed out above (re.fans), the players saying something won't shift the needle, because the players are not respected, they're only useful up to the moment they're not.

On the face of it, it looks pretty feral to me.

I think what went on this weekend was another level entirely. Homophobic insults, players’ wives being abused…anyway, the boys responded in a dignified way to it all, although their feelings seem pretty clear below.

It's been the direction of the travel with American fans in all sports for years. It's highlighted in the ryder Cup because they are getting beat, made harder to swallow as it goes against the narrative that the USA is the powerhouse of the men's fame.
You could argue it goes beyond the fans and into the officials, their record of bullying is unparalleled.
It's not got worse because of Trump, Trump got in because these people are voting for him.
Trump is the symptom, not the cause.

Spot on, i played in the states for a couple of years and they are loud and aggresive no matter what the situation is. It always amazes me that they can get so tinkled on the weak beer they drink there its like tinkle water.
