Brighton not exactly firing as yet but we have to be better going forward and with our passing than we were on Tuesday

So far this season I've noticed a trend in games :
Burnley - Not Great
City - Very Good
Bournemouth - Not Great
West Ham - Very Good
Villarreal - Not Great

So surely we will be very good on Saturday

Some rotation is needed too but we do have Doncaster on the following Wednesday where we could rest a fair few ahead of Wolves next Saturday night

Vicario
Spence Romero VDV Udogie
Sarr Palhinha Bentacur
Kudus Muani Simons

A hard fought 2-1 win for me

Up the Spurs

Up the Spurs
I was looking back at Brightons games so far.
They were seconds away from beating Fulham.
And if anyone watched their Everton game....a 2-0 loss was not a reflection of the game itself. Brighton were excellent but wasted their opportunities

(Minteh has looked dangerous on the right...so another customer for Djed)

Minteh is a good player
I really like him
As is their standard now they have a collection of really good players and still no striker (obviously Pedro has gone)
Their season will be great for a period…. Then a lull period… then great again and they will finish 10th like normal
What they do on Saturday is anyone’s guess

Brighton are such a Jekyll and Hyde team. They pulled our pants down the last time we played but our players were probably still hung over from Bilbao and we’ve got a manager who is a lot more organised and thorough.

We are getting done I think.

I think we’ll lose too. Think we have a longer way to go than we might have thought at the start of the season. We struggle to create chances and look often poor in possession. I think our attacking players need to learn to play the same tune. But not expecting anything from tomorrow’s match.

Brighton should have more points on the board and I think they are more settled than us at the moment.

I think we will get there eventually but there has to be some improvement in the final third like you said. The transitions at the moment are a little obvious and not flowing, but we have a new attack and it will take time. So a little patience and understanding from the fans wouldn’t go amiss

Hopefully BJ will track back to help Porro deal with Mitoma’s far post runs

I’d rather we keep the ball the other end first

But yeah it’s a team effort

Kudus has had a great start but also w run the risk of stretching him too far

For this one I'd like to see Spence at RB, Odobert LWF and Simons #10

I also agree with resting Kudus and starting Johnson on the right

It really feels like we have limited goal scorers these days. Not like it used to be.

The moment Kane left and Ange walked through the door, I've always felt our goals could come from anywhere in the team. It was so uplifting to see that massive change in the way our club was setup. I still feel that now with Frank. Just because, Odobert hasn't scored goals, it doesn't mean he won't.

I did have a little chuckle about Milo's comment about Bergval's output on a recent pod. Within days he'd smashed one into the onion bag.

Perhaps we need Milo to start observing Odobert's lack of assist and goals output :)
