Really well that’s your opinion, he could put 5 past 6 teams in the lower end in the cup competitions… would that make him a great player?
This got me thinking, so I looked up Messi and Ronaldo, they’ve scored 5 goals in a game twice each in their entire career. For someone to do it 6 times would be extraordinary. And to do it in one season is otherworldly, stuff of legends.

Except that is not the case with Brennan... Again I understand that people hold onto their perceptions but once again... some comments are simple mind boggling
Oh I’m not one to be down playing Brennan … he could work on his game. But scoring 30 goals doesn’t automatically make you a great player

€70. So £60m. We're preparing to go over £60m, with City wanting £70m. So probably ends up with clauses bridging the two?

Or with Liverpool/Arsenal/United/Barcelona/Madrid/Saudi Sportswashing Machine/Villa etc paying the £70 million and sealing the deal while Daniel is still trying to shape the fee in a way that will cover his petrol for coming into the office to work on it.

The reverse of that is he does a United and pays whatever is asked on fee and salary, that's not worked out well for them. You cant let the seller believe you're a desperate buyer.

Based on what they have allegedly rejected so far it appears City want about £70m. They can afford to reject £65m so it will be interesting to see how this is resolved

That’s my point it’s just so simple to say score 30 and you are a great player
Yeah but if Brennan scores 30 he will be seen as a great player as he will be doing it in the PL and CL. Even now I think he's a vital player in our squad. He doesn't actually pad goals against sh*t in nothing situations. Johnson does have a knack at scoring vital goals at vital moments. Not least in the final last season.
