So, what happened today?

That sounds great.

I'm in week 3 or a 4 week 'shorter working year' thingie at the moment. I still have all my hols as well but I take an extra month off in the summer and take the hit in my wages. Defo worth it for me.
Sounds like a tremendous balance if it works for you

My mate had a spare ticket for a 90s/2000s festival thing. Honestly, it was his sister's. Lou Bega, 2 Unlimited, Bomfunk MCs, E-Type, A*Teens.
You catch my drift. Good fun even if the weather is brick.

I googled the symptoms before calling 999. It said that they were nearest to angina. If I had believed that I’d be dead. The pain got so that I had to phone though.
I would urge everyone not to mess around if this ever happens to you.
Phone 999!
Sheez missed this and @Mikey10 post made me look.

Hope you are well fella and hope todays result aids your recovery

glad you phoned for an ambulance but 40 minutes isn't great. my cardiologist absolutely hates google it's not an expert always call 999 or 000 in oz. he did give me some advice that i'll pass on take it easy & take each day as it comes as depression is high in patients that have had heart attacks his words not mine. as someone who has been through it if you need someone to talk to don't hesitate to message me. good luck

So, yesterday actually, but drama continuing into today.
Woke up with a sore chest at 6.30 am. Thought this is not good, might pass. It didn’t, phoned 999. Ambulance arrived 40 mins later. Paramedics did an ecg. Immediately strapped up and blue lighted to hospital. Straight into cardio theatre for a stent. Still in hospital getting more tests, need another angiogram as well. Feeling a lot better after being freaked out and honestly couldn’t give a flying fudge about Eze 😝

Wow! I too had missed this! Well done for calling mate, glad you're OK

What a place this can be at times.......often forget that. Proper people.........

I hate days like today, last day of holiday and missus is packing, can't find this, where that, it's not going to fit in the bags (well don't buy presents for everyone). Got to wear same clothes tonight and tomorrow and lose an hours sleep, was it worth it? Yes.

Today is the last day of two weeks off work looking after my kids. They're with the mother-in-law tomorrow and back to school on Monday.

Looking forward to getting back to some sense of routine and having a break from having to deal with the constant arguing, fighting and mess....

It's a struggle, especially as my step-daughter, 16 is the laziest person I have ever met in my time on this planet
She won't and never has ever lifted a finger to help us whilst my wife and I are working

Ah yes, if it is any comfort at all this can generally be expanded to most 16 years old. You have my empathy and understanding mate, it is immensely frustrating!!!

You have to (sadly) monetise it mate. And tbh it's not such a bad approach as life is gonna be a long stretch of just that for her ie paid for labour.

We've also got ours (13) running eBay and vinted accounts to shift on the stuff we don't want. She gets to keep 100% of her own stuff income and 40% of anything that's 'ours' . She does the parcel packing and trips to PO (which also give us the chance to get her to grab other bits from the local shops:))
Also getting her to design some bits for work (she loves a bit of art, photography and digital design) ...all paid work of course. (Mates rates ;))

Recommend GoHenry. You can give them tasks (chores) which earn them money which they can spend on a debit card.
