Eberechi Eze

I'd also say that if this window doesn't make the club seriously consider the nature of relationship we have with CCA after being pretty much used as pawns to get one of their clients a new deal and force the hand of their other clients favoured destination then....well, i don't know...been utterly played by them this window.
Had that exact thought

Its not bad luck. Everyone knew the deal with Marinakis before the window. Everyone knew they weren't going to let Elanga and MGW leave in the same window. Everyone knew Eze was basically an Arsenal player before the window and Palace just needed the replacement. We didnt have our ducks lined up this window - we are scrabbling around from unrealistic deal to unrealistic deal looking desperate with no real strategy as per usual. We are less than 2 weeks away from deadline day and we have no fit attacking midfielders, no Son replacement and short at CB if Frank wants to play a back 3 in big games. And for most of these deals it looks like we find ourselves at square one.

One thing to throw in here is that we are amidst some serious boardroom restructuring and as such, I am sure the transfer work has been impacted. It is no secret that the Lewis family would rather have VV running the main show. I think perhaops this is the painful summer which leads to that being the case. I suspect they will not be happy with this latest thumb-twiddling, whatever the wider 'truths' might be about Frank's Spurs style...

Danso? We have signed Kudus for the first team and lost Son. We have signed Paulinha on loan and frozen out Bissouma. While Paulinha is a much better fit for what we need in that position its been far from a positive window for me. We are NET wide forwards, forward in DM, weaker at CB (as Frank uses a back 3 on occasions) and massive step back at AM due to long term injury
Net on wide forwards?? You're having a laugh. In what world is the current Son on the same level as Kudus?
We're not weaker at CB, we're the same.
The windows not over, AM will be addressed.

Agents work for their clients. Working to favour any club would be in breach of their industry regulations

We’re stronger at CB than we have been for years
We have so many options there now which we’re very much lacking

You have no clue that would have happened for sure . We offer release clause price scum could have still come in matched it and he could have still chose to go there .. fact is no one knows the facts bud ..

apparently we had agreed a fee last week pre clause ( again no one really knows) if havertz is now prompting scum to bid and agree a fee after 2 years of tracking and he wants to go there over us well that's life ... they clearly diddnt value him at his release fee before ...

I get it stings as he would have improved us we've no fcuking clue what's actually happened/happening really have we .

We've just won a trophy, in champions league , sacked manager and got a good one .. improved the team, played well against psg, beat the scum .. and going after some decent players for serious money ... will we/you us only be happy if absolutely everything goes our way ??? Because life and football don't work like that I'm afraid

Edit ... also signed long term deals for two decent talents including wcw captain who was off to athletico at start of the window (again if you believe click bait "journo itk tacos who are only in it for da monies"

Terms of payment pluy add-ons. It is actually very clear. We did not act decisively enough because we believed the hype i.e. that we were in a 'one-horse-race' (c) Ornstein. Foolish. Again, the only silver lining is that perhaps Frank will get a player HE feels really suits what he wants to do.

Where's that coming from?

pure comedy this board at times, grown men blaming people for something that hasn't happened yet, reported on by people that have no clue about what's gone on and are just there for clicks to feather their own pockets.

Sky, TalkSport and The Metro all now reporting that we have withdrawn our interest as we have accepted the player is moving to Arsenal.

Come on mate
You don’t think that these media guys have any influence with clubs

We forced our own hand on Eze, let's be clear. MGW? That was a massive fudge up and the agent/agency who wrote that clause is in the Charlie Kane realm of agency. Silliness.
