Back to where we started earlier in the summer then. We were all ready to accept Eze moving to that lot a month or so ago, weren't we?
Not that I think Arsenal will be in for him, as they needed to sell players to buy him in the first place - nothing has changed there. They are talking about cover for not one of their big players - will probably be someone they can loan.
But does highlight another reason why getting your deals done early can be beneficial - stuff like this can happen.....

I thought about this the other day....how we could have got Eze when he was at QPR etc. But...The reality is these players would very unlikely develop to the level they have done with the more limited game time they would get with us. Look at Odobert for example. We DID actually dip into the younger player/30m area (and I know he's had injuries) but he's jut not got any sort of regular game time, even when he's fit.
