OMT - Tottenham Hotspur vs PSG

Eze is better than Khanous
You choose the better player surely
I guess it will come down to potential versus right now. We've tended to lean more into potential purchases over players for the right now. Also if Savio is going to be north of £70m off there might not be the money left over to also buy Eze and given the choice I think long term this season LW is probably more critical and Savinho has a massive potential upside.

I think everyone is being a tad harsh on Tel, he is only a young lad and you lot are using him as a scape ggoat already. I’m not his biggest fan but come on chaps, he is a young lad. He is going to get enough stick on social media he doesn’t need it from a forum that i feel is full of respected Spurs fans.

Fuuuuxk! This was fuxking annoying! More annoying than I thought. Bloody hell it's frustrating that we gave this up!

Agreed. I didn't give a fudge when it started, but really annoyed when we lost that. But look at the players they subbed on. They are stacked with pro players on the bench - we are not. Thought we looked good anyway. On to the next.

Frank picked a semi fit solanke and Tel over him to see out the game, he obviously doesn't trust him.
What pray tell would Johnson have done if he came on? He has no hold up game to speak of, can't dribble either. At best he would have done basically what Tel and Solanke ended up doing. I'm no fan of Johnson but that situation was not the time for him.

Huge questions if we’re knackered by 60 mins.

I think people don't take into account there is also another side wanting to play and win and they are the Champions of Europe. The first X1 were knackered because they worked harder than needed to nullify the quality in oppo, then their subs are better than ours because of depth, which we all know because its been debated for months on here and they are PSG and we are Spurs..

They are technically so much better.........that supersedes fitness

Its not rocket science

Football fans will comment on what they see, but nobody deserves abuse.

However, I’m pretty comfortable in saying I haven’t seen any tools that I think will make him a success in the premier league, apart from the fact he has a really good attitude.

He had about 15-20 games last season and in his highlight reel when signing permanent there was a real lack of actual quality moments. Maybe I’m forgetting some.

He did have a really good spell at Bayern but I’m not seeing electric pace, nor skill like Kudus, nor any good finishing. His use of the ball has been ok.

I’m unsure what sort of winger he is. Because from what I saw last year he isn’t a striker either.

And let me reiterate - constructive criticism or discussion is fine. Abuse is not.
I think Tel has the right manager in TF to bring the best out of him. It may still not be enough but surely it's too early to judge? TF converted both Mbeumo and Watkins from left wingers to play more centrally, so he has form. Let's wait and see and give the lad our support.

I'd never seen him prior to our interest and having watched a couple of scouting videos in Jan i had the opinion he was very much a work in progress player and not an elite prospect by any measure. I was not keen on signing him after his loan spell but realise that was an opinion based on not much evidence - the club signed him and so he needs to be given the time now to show what he can do.

I’ll cheer him loudly on Saturday. And I bare no grudge for tonight - I actually applaud him for stepping up.

I can still observe that I don’t see the required skill set. I actually rate Odobert higher and think he’s a much better ball carrier and maybe would have been a better shout tonight.

If Tel has 15-20 goals by the end of the season I’d be delighted for him
