Why worry about the price
We don’t see it as fans and whatever we pay it will give people a chance to complain
Because we don't have a finite amount of money to spend, of course price is going to be a consideration - especially for a player who is far from the finished article.....

But not an issue for fans because we don’t know how much we have as a club.
All that matters, ever, is the right man for the job

But if that's our business done, we are in pretty good shape now - Kudus, Tel, Danso and Takai in for about £115m. I'd still like a cheap specialist 2nd LB like Cirkin or Mitchell, but otherwise that's our gaps filled.

Then we can work thinking about 1-in-1-outs like-for-likes with possibly Richy and Biss, depending what Frank makes of them through pre-season.

Tbf a big reservation of mine was the price. At 55m that's a decent deal all things considered, and Levy has played a blinder when considering it's West Ham he was dealing with who apparently don't deal with us.....
Was my fear as well, I thought they’d have our pants down for closer to 70m on this one. Based on last seasons form I still think we’re about 10m too high.

If that’s who Frank wants then great the club is backing him, hopefully we’re buying the first season and Ajax version of the player.

Can we find a quality midfielder? Not easy. Maybe structure and good coaching means retaining Bissouma is a better option.
