I didn't feel it was a bad presser at all.
Talking of "different", I don't understand why he keeps saying he is doing things differently. Now I get that the club has done things differently. They've changed the entire leadership structure, they've invested over a number of years in the academy. Most importantly, their big bets like stadium, NFL, F1 karting etc are now instantiated into running the club. They've churned the squad for their managers and will continue to do so.
What is different at the manager level though?
To me, the only thing that is different from the other managers is his tactical system. The rest is business as usual. He talks as if he has some sort of magic beans. He just manages a squad of players just like Poch, Jose, Nuno and Antonio did right? I'd love to know what he thinks he does differently to them.
I quite like the stone cutter analogy. It's nice to know that in his mind we have to keep hammering the stone and eventually we get the breakthrough. I guess there is a fine line between that and the definition of insanity though.
