Championship and EFL Football

Ftoss has found his level again.

A win continued an impressive rise for the Sky Blues under Frank Lampard with their eighth win in nine league games taking them into fifth place ahead of the 15:00 GMT kick-offs.

I always look out for Plymouth they are unfortunate to be winning but everyone else around them are winning aswell.

Anyone remember the Plymouth fan that used to post on here years and years ago? Sure his name was Pilgrim or something along those lines.

I'm not the poster you're referring to but I moved to West Cornwall 8 years ago, retained my THFC season ticket until 2021 then decided it'd be better for my boy to support his 'local' team so got season tickets at Argyle, 75 miles away. Since then he's seen them miss out on the play-offs on the final day to a Troy Parrott-inspired MK Don's, win League 1, survive in the Championship on the final day (both pitch invasions, which he loved) and hopefully (unlikely) do the same this year. He's 9 now and adores Argyle but I'll never get the Spurs out of him. Even a trip upcountry to Wolves away hasn't discouraged him!

Smart move if true. Putting the club first they should go for the best person they can find to manage them in the PL. It's not nice but Farke ain't it.

If you look at the funding he was given by Delia Smith it was paltry, and not unexpected that they were relegated.

He has the highest win percentage of any Leeds manager in their history this season.

He will be given the opportunity to manage Leeds in the Premier League, and at least the owners will give him the money to strengthen his squad.

The Leeds owner today.

"Marathe, (Chairman), stated after Farke was appointed that he felt the German had not been give a "fair deck of cards" during his two seasons in the Premier League with Norwich that both resulted in the Canaries being relegated"

"He did not just win the Championship twice, but dominated it twice," Marathe said on the official Leeds United podcast. "He knows what it takes and knows the grit, fight, blood, sweat and tears it's going to take to get through the Championship.

"Let me be clear, this is not a short-term thing.
