Champions League 24/25

Well, that was a steal for Liverpool. Battered all game long.
How that PSG goal was ruled out for offside is mental. Coming back towards the ball from an offside position and his heel was offside. I guess by the law/VAR it's correct but in the real world it's not like he was trying to gain an any advantage by beating any offside trap etc.

PSG were amazing to watch last night, Luis Enrique really has them playing some good football. Not the finished article but they seem to be putting it all together finally.

Their shooting at times was all over the place though and it will probably cost them, It's gonna be tough for them to get through from here.

He was amazing at Napoli when they won the league

We should have gone for him, imagine him on our right, or left, wing
I heard someone European expert saying Napoli were happy to cash in and take the money as his form had dropped since the title winning season. I haven't watched him enough to know but last night he was quality. I'm still annoyed they ruled his goal out!

He had that type of form all season for Napoli, he was stellar, him and Osimhen (who's at Galatasaray?? about to swap to Man United??)

His form changed when the new manager came in and asked him to just do running drills

Their keeper has kicked the ball out loads though too
He will have a fudge up at some point

Yeah, that only makes sense! It's only us that don't do that.
They have their fair share of ridiculous misplaced passes too. They're quite similar to us in how they play. When they lose the ball in attack, they're wide open.

Sure, but in general they look calmer and have more options when they play out from the back. They're also open, but in turn defend way better than we do. I'm basing that on this and their home game alone, havent watched them at all for a long time.

From what I've seen tonight their positioning and movement is superior to ours. And the quality of passing is generally much better too.

Would love Kane to win it.
Bayern are good going forward but defensively suspect so don't think they will.
They're not spectacular in any way, but prodding along in typical German fashion. Bayern haven't really been a very good watch since Robben and Ribery were occupying the flanks.

Yeah, a lot of last ditch defending from PSG now, but they're doing it successfully so far! Donnarumma has been outstanding.

Kvaratskhelia is a joy to watch. Has that loose "street" player style to him. Just looks so natural.
