Hoping to see another step in the right direction from us performance wise. No full week between games as we have had for a couple now, but we actually have a match day squad now and haven't been running players into the ground recently.

Physicality in midfield could be big for this one. They have a lot of ageing players, particularly in midfield.

Alternatively just give the ball to Spence and see what happens.
 
I was hoping that one or both of the senior centre halves would be on the bench for this one. Last chance before the AZ match to get some pitch time. With Danso's form, we only need one of them for next Thursday.

Agree, but tbh I wouldn't be looking to rush them back for the AZ game (not suggesting that you would). We should and already have beat them with our squad in a much worse state, keeping a clean sheet with Forster in goal and a CB partnership of Dragusin and Davies. Not taking AZ lightly, but I would be thinking more about for the next round that I would be really hoping for Romero and VDV to of got some game time by. If they are ready for this then great, but I'm not overly concerned about it.....

What a terrible OMT, no offence Marky. I am not at the lane - 100% win record this year (Everton and United) and its wet and miserable.

Got kicked off a train today as overhead wire problems, so WFH and it would be our third win against City like we have done against the other lot from Manchester this season.

I just cant see how the gods will allow this to happen.
