*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City ***

We have had the better chances. It could have be a two goal lead at the the break.

Leicester doing what every team does against us. Digging in the back of us all over the pitch and the ref letting them get away with it.

There is no zip to our play though. They all look tired.

Id like to see Moore on and Yang. We need some fresh legs in our play.

Cant see that happening unless we are 2 goals up on 80 minutes or 3 ahead by 65/70 mins

Very sloppy from us, we gave the ball to Leicester about 20 times in one half of football.
Stupid decisions all over the pitch. Presumably due to tiredness.
But if we are so tired, why do we make such strange runs with Bentancur charging at the keeper and 2 seconds later Leicester are in behind Porro?
It is such a strange brand of football, very scrappy and thoughtless at times.

I’ve been running dry on rivers recently. If anyone is able to share one for the second half, much appreciated.

In the warmup show, they said Spurs were doing a different drill.
All season, the wide players have been getting to the byline and cutting it back across goal on the floor.
But in today's warmup, they focussed on chipping crosses to the back post, for Richie.

So I guess that paid off nicely.
Richie's got 2 in 2, right?

And... why doesn't Solanke get these chances?

Decent half. All fairly low tempo, which is probably the fatigu. But able to control the game most of the time and also able to up the tempo occasionally. Some poor turnovers the biggest negative of the half imo.

Hopefully the relative lack of tempo means we can last the distance.

Whether it's a low cross or high cross...
Porros crossing is a weapon....get him in the position to deliver often.

Think Beckham and United.

We frequently get stuck trying to pass in tight areas when Leicester players pile in. Instead of moving the ball into a new area of the pitch (where there are wholes) we end up being crowded out. We need to move the ball faster to stretch the pitch.

I see Kyrematen and Irow scored, for the Academy* to beat Liverpool 2-0
Very nice

Note we only named 8 subs today, whereas 9 are allowed in the PL

So we can't even muster a child to sit on the bench

My commentators said Leicester have leaked loads of goals in their second halves this season, that has been their biggest downfall.

So let's keep going and get some space between us and inevitable Vardy fight back as we tire
