We know who was behind a chunk of that with paratici … although I’ll forever hit him with Bryan Gil … a fudging Spaniard called Bryan with a Beatles haircut… that’s red flags everywhere and then you realise he is basically Cilla Black
But your also forgetting that we brought Philips too who I know from my championship supporting mates they rave about
Gray just has that pedigree and it shows. I’m still waiting to see if we get his kid brother who is a very talented forward

unfortunately i think raw speed is one of those things that you are born with - got to do with the proportion of fast-twitch vs slow-twitch muscles from one's DNA. that said there are other ways to compensate e.g. situational awareness, reaction timing ... and of course who knows if angeball is still in favour when luka arrives

I do remember when Kane was younger and he used to put on the running spikes and work with a sprint coach. There are some techniques to improve your pace, but it is mostly optimising what tools you have. I guess those first couple of yards are critical in his position.

When you look closely you see others like Lankshear, Devine, Keeley, Feeney etc where we've nicked them from other academies at a decent age. I think Williams Barnett was also nicked from Luton at some point.
I reckon if you put together our best U21 team from our 1st team U21's, U18's and loanees it would be better than we've had for a very long time.

Looks like he has it all. Good in the air, tackling and great on the ball. Could just as easily play DCM as well as CB going by that clip, but of course those clips can make anyone look good.

He looks like a unit out there, Tall for someone who is not even 18 but more than that he has the frame of an older player. It might be clips but you can see he has an amazing touch in close quarters and an eye for a pass and without doubt he is a danger in the opposition box at corners.

Obviously he looks incredible here, absolutely mustard.
But the most pleasing thing to me was his challenge on 3:37
He's in the wall facing a free kick; every other player in the wall is surprised by the cheeky pass and just looks in astonishment, whereas Vuskovic spins and pounces backwards to tackle the player about to smash the ball into the goal. That shows epic defensive intuition and desire.
