Gian Piero Ventrone has passed away

We are devastated to announce that fitness coach Gian Piero Ventrone has passed away.

The 61-year-old joined the Club in November, 2021, as part of Antonio Conte’s backroom staff, having previously held roles at Juventus, Catania, JS Suning, GZ Evergrande and AC Ajaccio.

As loveable off the pitch as he was demanding on it, Gian Piero quickly became a hugely popular figure with players and staff.

He will be greatly missed by everyone at the Club and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this impossibly sad time.

Very sad news indeed. Seems like everyone at the club loved him. Wonder if the players will manage to pick themselves up for the weekend. Hope they put on a magnificent performance to honour him.

Sad sad news and everyone is going to be devastated not only because of the work he put in but he was also well regarded off of the pitch as a nice man, condolences to his family. RIP.

That's quite a shock. :( Didn't know he was ill either. R.I.P.

Obviously it's not what really matters when someone just died, but you gotta wonder what this will mean for Spurs - seeing as the players held him in high esteem. (apologies if anyone considers this bad taste)
