Don't ruin the narrative, everything is VARs fault, from ref fudge ups to covid and everything in between. That wasn’t VAR, it was all the ref. One of the worst bits of officiating I’ve ever seen that was.

Have your say on VAR: The Premier League are undertaking a consultation of players and managers, and we will feed in to that process with the feedback of match-going fans. Take our short 5 minute survey and have your say https://t.co/xuDH4dtXwH

This looks to be the tightest VAR offside yet.

It HAS to change next season.
Leagues MUST be allowed to follow the UCL method and only give offside when technology graphically provides a clear decision.
Pierluigi Collina wants it this way. It has to happen. #FULWOL pic.twitter.com/ngQjpzYBEW
What a joke VAR has turned into. Someone needs to be sent to the stocks. This looks to be the tightest VAR offside yet.

Why is that worse than someone guessing without the benefit of slowing it down? What a joke VAR has turned into. Someone needs to be sent to the stocks.

They're still guessing though, just at the other side of it (when the ball is played, bit of it). In this case it looks like it's already been played when they've decided to take the judgement frame and judge everything to the millimetre. They're also having a bit of a guess about where arms start. Why is that worse than someone guessing without the benefit of slowing it down?
It's still guess work, but it's going to be far, far more accurate than without the technology. They're still guessing though, just at the other side of it (when the ball is played, bit of it). When a computer can do this without the help of some halfwit referee, then fair enough let it decide in a split second like it does with GLT. It's a bit silly at the moment.
I understood the whole point of VAR was to eliminate clear and obvious errors. If the VAR can spend eons deciding whether the hairs on someone's elbow gave him such a critical advantage over the opposition why then does he not also wind back to the previous throw-in or free kick when ten yards were stolen in the first place? Why is that worse than someone guessing without the benefit of slowing it down?
A goal getting taken off the Scousers is always funI understood the whole point of VAR was to eliminate clear and obvious errors. If the VAR can spend eons deciding whether the hairs on someone's elbow gave him such a critical advantage over the opposition why then does he not also wind back to the previous throw-in or free kick when ten yards were stolen in the first place?
The way it is being operated, the VAR is taking all the fun and excitement out of scoring what are perfectly legitimate goals.

This is the Fleck challenge I was talking about. ONE MILLION % DELIBERATE.

Ask 100 refs - 50/50 yes or no.
Ask 100 players - 100% will know that this was a deliberate action.
