Thought we were okay first half. Didn't create a huge amount but the threat was there. Second half we were just a mess. Would happily sell 5-10 players if we could get decent money for them.

Would keep Lloris, Toby, Sanchez, Aurier, Sissoko (as no one would buy these 2 and they actually do a job for us), LeCelco, Moura, Bergwijn, Son, Kane. The rest, if we could get decent money, sell sell sell.

I don’t mind being risk averse if we have quality when we do have the ball, which means we need 4 or 5 first teamers in next season.

Phew. Underwhelming end to a truly terrible season, but in the end, we've finished in the top 6 again for what, the 11th time in a row? It's become the minimum, and we met it.

Bit put out by how poorly we played in the second half, mind - struggled to recover mentally after that equalizer. Also tinkled off that Sanchez was dropped for Dier - he was performing well in a good defense, why replace him? Dier lost Dann for headers about twenty times today, and lost him for the equalizer as well. Dele looked...well, beyond crap in the time he was on, but I have very low expectations of him right now.

Ah, well. Get a proper midfielder in for Sissoko, get a proper right-back in for Aurier, and we'll hopefully look better in September.
 
Well thank fudgeity fudge that steaming pile of horse brick of an excuse for a season is finally over.

No Sissoko next year please Jose. If we could replace with a footballer, we will be top 4 again.
 
I echo the sentiments on here. We need to get rid of 5-6 players at least. Awful season but salvaged it somewhat.

Depressing how much we have regressed every season since we got 2nd under Poch. I really hope the club realise this and give Jose some money to spend otherwise we will keep sliding down the table. Phil Knight (cofounder of Nike) said in his book you need to invest in any business just to remain the same, let alone improving.
