I see. Fundamentally we view the player completely differently, I cant agree with any of that, which is fine - of course - but Ill leave it here as I dont see us moving it on any more!

Honestly mate, nothing other than being told unequivocally well over a week ago that he was not coming to us, was most likely going nowhere and that if he went anywhere it would've been to Chelski. I didn't believe it TBH, but it appears to be accurate.

Things can change though. Chelsea just shot their wad on a keeper, I dont know that they have more money for big buys.

We have failed in Martial (it seems) so may well feel the pressure and make a move.

sadly for us, more likely the latter. They're sniffing around Drinkwater too, having already signed Kouyate, but i guess that's to cover off Cabaye leaving.

Cabaye is a pretty big loss, so is Loftus Cheek.

Kouyate and Meyer I imagine will be fairly direct replacements.

Otherwise theyve added an attacking option in Ayew, something they desperately need, so at this point I wouldnt read much into it.
