Are you trying to draw comparisons between them? Would be interesting to see your angle if so
Not a direct comparison. I'm just curious to see what he thinks of Dele

I always argued this with people saying Dele was poor,if memory serves he got one less assist in the PL than Sane who everyone waxed lyrical about. But forgetting the stats there’s definitely been periods where he looked below par and strong competition for him could do some good. He knows that currently if fit he plays, he wouldn’t be so confident this season with Moura and Zaha breathing down his neck and would be good for everyone - increased options and increased competition meaning players raising their game....I thought his form swings were overdone in the media. His game changed slightly last season, he wasn't as close to Harry as he was the season before but still managed around 30 goals/assists in all comps (as soon as Harry was injured he found his scoring form again). He's also hard to play against as hes quick and strong, he keeps possession and moves us up the pitch and helps keep us there.
If Zaha did come we'd have loads of options. Could drop CE deeper and play Son, Alli and Zaha behind Kane for example.
You don't rate Zaha at all. Fair enough
What do you think of Dele as a footballer?
Surely that is the same for any of our 4 most attacking players? For me he'd only be in the team because he scores and assists. If the goals dried up I'd be looking for a replacement.

One thing you notice when you look at that comp is what a beast Sonny is. Basically twice as many goals as Alli and Zaha, and almost twice as many assists last season. Nice one, Sonny.

Those are per 90 minutes, here are the same stats as totals for the season

and the aggresiveness of El CocoWhat a mouth watering prospect signing Zaha would therefore be... we'd have a attack with everything:
- the goals from Harry
- the assists and support play from Son and Dele
- the creativity of Eriksen
- the transition of Moura.
- the pace and dribbling of Zaha
pretty sure post injury he is now a deep lying CM - https://www.bundesliga.com/en/news/...-esque-role-under-domenico-tedesco-464407.jspMeyer's a central AM. He replaced Holtby at Schalke.

Stranger suggestions have been made, hes played Cm before for us when chasing a game. I’d be concerned with him getting a few red cards in that position though....Indeed... wonder if there is any traction in trying Lamela in the Dembele role. Good tackler, keeps possessions and also effective ball circulation and distribution.
This is ITK genius. Can't lose face whatever happens.85% happening. Love it
