Youth Players/On-Loan Thread 2020/21

I think they are signed to keep the overall standard of the under 23 team high. While the coaches do not expect them to go on and make first team football they do need the players they have ear marked for first team football to be playing in competitive teams.

It is why we often 20 and 21 year olds with no hope of making it in our squads.

Same in any academy. They only think a couple are good enough, but you can't train with a few.

Am I right in thinking they used to do this years ago?

I understand not putting pressure on the kids but it would be nice to watch.

In america they have a thing called college football that they televise.
 
Sessegnon starting for Hoffenheim. Foyth starting for Villarreal.

Would be nice if some of you would take it upon yourselves to watch those games instead to give us an update on how they do.

What instead of our match?

I watch a little bit of German football in the season but cant stand Spanish football. Will try and catch Sess this season.
