There are far too many average foreign players at all clubs. There is this situation where any half decent British players are overpriced and few clubs giving young players the time to develop.

They were trying to sell/loan Gittens during the last window, so hes no barrier to them bringing someone else in. Their wide players are ok, but they want better.
I don't find their approach that confusing, they continually player trade until they get an indisputable player ie. someone like Palmer. No settling at Chelsea.
