Agreed, I often worry about wearing my Rolex to Spurs especially late at night and in the City after going out, too many ruffians and hoodlums about

I can't, no.

Although at about £4-600 he probably spends more on them than most people do on watches.

I can't remember which brand he said, might have been Tag, that all of their parts are made in China. They're assembled in Switzerland, but his Chinese guy gets the case, dial, strap, etc straight from the factory and puts his own movement in.

Actually, there's one where I can. He has a Jaeger Ultra Thin Moon which looks perfect except that laid side by side, the Chinese couldn't get it to be quite as thin. You'd have to have the two next to each other though.

I like it. Have to run big purchases past her indoors now.

My watch looks similar. It cost me £34 about 10 years ago. I don't understand spending lots on watches, most are gaudy and a magnet for muggers.

They've probably come up in this thread before, but Orient make some really good dive watches for the under £300 bracket.

I've got a Mako II Pepsi, it's great, it was like £120.

I find chunky watches mess with suit sleeves a bit though.

Yeh this is going to be a more casual wear one.

I have this as my work one because its alot flatter, fits under a double cuff nicely
