Yes, the athletic and ally gold have both said it's a position conte is looking at strengthening. Not that davies has done a bad job or anything.

Indeed, Davies has done very well for us and even though I anticipate we will we bring in an upgrade he will still remain an important squad player whom I still expect to play a number of matches.
I have always felt to get to the next level we have to what we have done with Romero, Kula and Bentancur, and that is to buy players that are better than what we already have and are good enough to make the starting 11.

I don't think it will be because Davies hasn't been good, more that we haven't got cover if Davies gets injured.

I do not think it is because Davies has not been good but rather because we can get better. Conte wants to make a serious challenge for the title next season and not just to try and finish 4th again.
Also if davies gets injured we're in trouble. Although the same can be said for the other 2. Cb in the summer is a must.

Great that Parrott's settled down and banging them in. Is he ready for a spot on the first team bench? I'd say he needs game time for his development. Maybe the best case would be for MK Dons to get promoted (they're 2nd today, albeit having played more games than some of the others) and take him on for another season.
Agree. He seems to have settled there and going to the next level with them would be great. The manager is guaranteed to play him. Win win.

Would rather him get another year out on loan, preferably in the Championship. If MK Dons do get promoted it would probably suit all parties to extend the loan.
