I do worry sometimes how we'd cope if Kane went down injured with a knee injury. Sturridge is too talented a player to waste his career. He'd get decent minutes for us if he performed to his ability. Not sure I agree with your view that he seems a thundercnut, no more so than Alli or Aurier.
Too much of a risk, he's always injured and apparently always claims he's not ready when doctors can't find anything wrong with him. He's obviously very talented and will always score goals but you can't rely on him and I can't see someone like that being good for team spirit.
