Agreed.

May of course just be rumours, may be Paratici targeting multiple players looking for the deal we think is the best. Wouldn't have any complaints about either of those for sure, though Raphina for me has that little bit extra.

If he could cross, or play a killer ball he would be pushing. His finishing and heading ability is good enough.

Has anyone mentioned free kicks too?

A big thing we’ve seen under Conte is getting that first goal and then turning into a juggernaut in games.

I think people underestimate how important a goal from a free kick might be. Particularly if it’s the first goal of a tight game. We’ve literally gone without that as a weapon for 2 or 3 seasons.

Son has scored a couple on international duty. I don't know of any of our targets are any good.

It feels like we’ve been poor at set pieces - both direct free kicks and corners - for a long time, wayyyyy back till Eriksen’s first 3/4 years.

I’d love us to sign someone that can take a great dead ball - Raphinha is ace - as I think it could be worth another 4/5 goals a season for us. They’d obviously need to offer us more than that and for that reason I wouldn’t spend big on JWP.

JWP is an interesting one, he’s a solid centre mid but he’s not quite good enough that warrants one of the big boys taking a punt on him for his obvious set piece ability. If I’m England manager he’s a dead cert in my tournament squads though, imagine having that capability on the bench.

Well id like to think it stay that way but it won’t. Either it’s just coincidence or now the talk has died down he will get back on it next season. Either way, I’d much prefer Dier take most of them until we get a true specialist….

I'd be happy Sonny having more of a go (with Dier). Wouldn't surprise me if Kulu was decent as well...appears to curl the ball into the top corner like clockwork when he cuts in.
 
Henderson is a great signing. I'd only put Alisson and Lloris ahead of him in terms of best keepers in the league.

I don't think Botman will take to this league though
