Transfer thread

Apart from Spence, which other HG players are looking likely to come in alongside Forster?
I know that's been a squad issue previously in terms of ins and outs...

Might as well inject from here too...

Hopefully Brereton as Kane's understudy.

If we're keeping a 22 man squad, we only really need 5 HGs, rather than 8. So Forster, Tanganga, Skipp, Sessegnon and Kane, plus maybe Spence and Brereton, should be ample. The rules about Dier and Davies are still ridiculous.

Just thinking of homegrown. what is victor moses up to? Is he available on a free? He was playing for spartak moscow.

Apparently, according to Marca, we are interested in Valencia's 21 year old GK called Giorgi Mamardashvili

https://www.marca.com/futbol/valencia/2022/05/31/6295c76246163f151e8b460b.html

Some bits translated (according to another poster elsewhere in the Spursforumiverse):

"Mamardashvili has been a Valencia player for some time . The school was right with the Georgian goalkeeper and for less than a million euros, Valencia has secured a goalkeeper of high level and projection. In a Valencia from another era he would be the starting goalkeeper for many seasons, but now there are other priorities. The Georgian is a goalkeeper much to the taste of the Premier and United's initial interest has been joined by Totenham's.

Relations between the two clubs are good after the transfer of Bryan Gil and the London club is already thinking of a future replacement for Lloris , whose contract ends in 2024, but who is already 36 years old. At the moment there has been no formal offer, but for Valencia it is an extra sale (almost clean) that would give oxygen to empty coffers."

Buy loan back?

Thimothee Lo-Tutala in the U23 is supposed to be highly thought of re the medium-to-long term.

He plays for France for his age group, and has been training with our first team this spring.

We've couple of good keepers, Austin is good, they need to play and make mistakes in games that count. Teams and managers will not gamble with young kids in goal unless they're desperate.
