Not at all. Most of the rest of the PL look terrible. Look incapable of defending, or huff and puff with no real threat. I think we are well set for an excellent season.
Bit early to start getting roostery. Need to remember that Conte has apparently said he wants another 3 players before the end of the window - and they were also missing Pedro, Hazard, Costa, Bakayoko etc today. I still think they'll be there or thereabouts. Man C will as well given that they have huge attacking resources - Aguero, Jesus, de Bruyne, D Silva, Sterling, Sane, B Silva, Toure etc - just amazing that they haven't bought a CB (yet). I also think Utd will be tough this year as their spine (De Gea, Linderoff/Bailly, Matic/Pogba/Herrera, Lukaku) looks very solid.
Most annoying for me was Arse snatching the win. Granted, the performance doesnt suggest they've learned a thing over the summer but them and Liverpool are in my view our peers whereas the other three have vastly greater financial capacity to spend.
If we bring in 3 or so decent additions, we can be very competitive though. I worry about our depth if we dont though

Probably the best result we could've seen there TBH. Had they collapsed like it looked they would until Mahrez decided to stop bothering with anything remotely approaching defensive aide, there would've been three weeks for them to make moves in the market and get something else done. Instead, they now believe they will win the league and are incredible. Carry on!!!!!

So we are the only team to start the new season without any new signings. We have to hope our tried and tested first 11 players will be at their best to start the season with a win. We badly need to beat Saudi Sportswashing Machine to get revenge on the 5-1 humiliation we suffered to them 2 years ago. Hope Kane will get his first ever league goals in August to lead us to the win.
