The person I quoted said “every single game.”Because he had a decent game last week doesn't mean he has been brilliant this season. And nobody has said he is the worst player in the squad.

As I said earlier in the thread, he made some great runs first half. Unfortunately no one had the vision to play him in.Son can’t play against packed defences
Yes. It's done. Anti football wins again..I agree — he was extremely poor today and when he plays like that he’s frustrating. Look at how angry he was at full time, he knows it himself. He should have been dragged.
But players have bad days. Move on.
I’ve long suspected that there is outside interference most likely from an advanced alien race and the chelsea game just confirmed it for me.I know you make your own luck. But Christ Almighty, that 1st goal, one ricochet is bad enough, but to get a double and the ball to fall right into his path, Uncanny.
And then the 2nd, yes, its our initial mistake, but the shot is off target and hits the post, anybody else and that ball goes the other way towards the corner flag...oh no, not Spurs, straight back perfectly to Ward-Prowse's feet
At some point between Oct 27th and Nov 6th somebody at the club must have run over 2 cats, never mind one
Internal xg is as bad as Xg
It’s a myth because you need someone to pull the trigger to make it count
Number of shots can be a stat used to flatter teams who don’t deserve it. How many actual good chances did we have?We had 23 shots.
Enough to win the match, that’s for sure.Number of shots can be a stat used to flatter teams who don’t deserve it. How many actual good chances did we have?
Very good summary. West Ham barely deserved a draw, let alone a win but we also didn’t do enough, especially after we’d been pegged back to 1-1.Very frustrating but the fact is the Spammers defended well for the whole game and got a lucky rebound that fell just right for them then a suicidal back pass and we looked like we could play all night and not score against their system
He ran but it didn’t mean the ball could be made…As I said earlier in the thread, he made some great runs first half. Unfortunately no one had the vision to play him in.

The style is thereIf we had Kane up top, we would certainally have more points now. But you can still see progress from us. And tonight we were great for 20 mins, then we and them tired noticably. Strange how early both teams control and fitness seemed to go. But we were good for the lead at HT. A little unlucky Zumas shin didn't hit the net. A little unlucky a hand ball and pen wasn't given - he moves his arm towards the ball.
Without Maddison, Son playing every game.
Personally I can see a style of play which is coming together. We needed more from our young squad. And have missed ruthlessness to put teams to the sword. But you didn't expect us to be perfect right away did you?
We've seen plenty of games over the last few years where we come up against an opposition who is happy to sit back, frustrate and counter one or two times a half. This evening i felt, mostly from the first half tbf, that we were a lot more assured in trying to break that sort of approach down than anything i can remember going back to the Poch days (even back then it was still a crux for us with multiple match winners on the pitch) the game was played deeper in the opponents half than what we have been used to and the speed of pass and movement off the ball again was much better (for the most part) - so despite the result there's still signs we're moving in the right direction.
He can. But he can’t when we don’t really have an incisive passer on the pitch.Son can’t play against packed defences
There is an alien Ray Winstone making a pile from alien betting adverts.I’ve long suspected that there is outside interference most likely from an advanced alien race and the chelsea game just confirmed it for me.
Why they do it is the question and ofc its not just us. My guess is its for their entertainment or they are rigging bets on their alien homeworld or something.
I thought Hojbjerg was our best midfield player today. Won a lot of the ball and used it sensibly. You have a real soft spot for Hojberg. He was quite poor for me today, especially in the first half. Constantly under hitting passes or just miss controlling. He stood out to me as not really fitting in. 2md half when there was more dogs body work he looked a better fit but still I'd hardly call that a good performance.
I otherwise agree Romero was very good and despite having lots of the ball we really created nothing much. Their goals were unfortunate but the nature of the game meant that they were always going to make cleaner more direct chances than we were.
Skipp for Lo Celso didn't make a great deal of sense to me despite Lo Celso not really have the impact needed. We need him to make more through ball and to speed up the tempo of the match. It was all a bit too safe from him which make the change to Skipp an odd one because that's pretty much all he does; play it safe.
I think it really showed again the lack of quality depth in the squad. We just don't really have much outside the 12 players and I'm including the injured bunch in that.
Have always said it about Conte, results weren’t the problem with him. His attitude was especially at the end. If Ange achieves similar results to Conte playing good football, he’ll have been a success here.Ignore the stats of Conte and Jose’s reign and you’d think we were the gonad*s!
Enough good chances? I remember very few. Richarlison missed a decent chance but that is par for the course with him, he is a poor finisher.Enough to win the match, that’s for sure.
The style is there
The effort is there
The lack of actual edge is sorely missing though
It’s pretty but quite blunt a lot of the time because teams know that we only play one way
Today was a mirror of Sheffield United and Liverpool
