It's based on his play throughout the game. He constantly took too many touches and then decided not to cross with players in the box. It's becoming a common feature of his play and not just tonight.

Ignore 23 shots? How? Richarlison was inches away from making it 2-1. We should have been 2 or 3 up in the first half. We were extremely predictable in the second half, but it’s another game where if we finish our chances we win easily.

The Richy header was basically it from what I recall. For a match so so much controlled possession we basically created nothing and the few chances we had were of low quality.
Our xG was just 1.75 West Ham's 1.98
Given that the Richy chance probably accounted for almost .7 xG by itself it does confirm that we created nothing much at all and nothing of quality.
