I'd bring on Lamela. He might make as little contribution as Townsend at times, but his link up play around the box is far better. Townsend seems to be running from his team mates constantly

that townsend is getting starts in this form is simply indicative of our lack of suitable wingers. i've long been supportive of lamela and he has been up and down, but its hard to believe he isn't a better bet than townsend.
 
Townsend is just utterly useless. In fact worse than useless, he ruins almost every attack he gets involved with. We could honestly do better with 10 men so he wasn't ruining things.
 
Is Lamela at full fitness? We know what Townsend can or more exactly can't do, i wish we would give Lamela every game as a starter to the end of the season, it would be far more enlightening.

Lamela, for all his faults, is so much better than Townsend it's embarrassing on Poch's behalf.
 
I would Swap Townsend for Davies and have him Lb then swap Chadli to the right and Rose down the left.
