Would like to see us take quick throw ins. Whenever we pause they get back into position. As expected a tough game.

we put a good spell of abut 10-15 minutes but we just havent been on the ball since about the 20th minute.
 
Eriksen has been ANONYMOUS.. still, assist to his name.

I'd look to bring Stambouli on and tell him to sit. I'd also take Soldado off and put Chadli on before Townsend comes on for Lamela and look something like this:

Kane
Townsend - Eriksen - Chadli
Bentaleb - Stambouli​
 
Are we missing strength in midfield do you think? Not in terms of personnel, but do we have enough players back in formation to hold them, from which we can break?
 
Well, I have seen enough of Lamela. Its like playing with ten men. He is good for one thing...giving away free kicks. Out the window in January I hope.

sounds good to me although I have doubts about changing lamela for Townsend
 
fazio seems to be playing the role of two centre halves. I hope Vertonghen shows up in the second half and helps him out a bit.

interesting to see if you had the same feelings if it was Lamela who took the corner and Eriksen had continued to play the way he s doing. Has he touched the ball since the 4th minute.

Think Eriksen could drop into midfield when he's marked out the game wide. Would get him involved and bolster us.
 
Great result at HT. Lamela and Fazio look real, real weaknesses for us at the moment. Vertonghen not great in that half either. We need to get tighter and talk to each other.
