Well Bale was telling Daws to stop hoofing it, then Harry was telling the team to get it down and play instead of hoofing it, so....?
 
People need to calm down.. obviously the aim is to win it with the LEAST effort possible..and get out of there with no knocks or injuries..
It's late season and the run in for the league is ahead of us and we can't afford losing players for a silly match we can win while on 1st gear.
Plus..while doing that the team and formation is totally new and it is not easy to just go out there and play like our regular 11

if we're gonna hoof it we might as well try long shots as their goalie has got the sun in his eyes at the moment. (shudder to think what happens to cudicnini in the 2nd half though).

Exactly. And if it is tactics funny how it always happens when Dawson is playing, and seemingly regardless of whether it is Defoe on the end of them. Dawson is a good guy and good player, but his long balls are deeply irritating.
